I tried to be clever on this thumbnail…

Has your diet or weight loss program hit a wall? Are you longing for those first weeks when pounds were just melting off with ease?

I’ve been there and decided to write up some simple questions to ask yourself when you’ve hit this sort of plateau.

If you haven’t experienced this, you will, so read this anyway!

Try them for yourself and make the corresponding corrections to get back on track.

Question #1 Am I Actually in a Plateau?

Before you go doing anything crazy like doubling your daily workouts or fasting for 24+ hours, take a deep breath and decide if you’re actually in a plateau or you’re just at the biologically normal level of weight loss.

Your “wall” might just be relative to the earlier rate of weight loss you experienced.

The first few weeks of a diet are a bit of a mirage since much of this initial weight loss is water weight.

This is great, but it can set an unreasonable expectation for how much weight you’re really going to lose in the following weeks.
