My “6 Pack” of iOS Apps I Use to Burn Fat and Build Muscle
These Almost Feel Like Cheating
I’ve written at length about “era gratitude.” We have tremendous advantages that no other generation in history has, and it’s our duty to fully utilize and appreciate them.
Few areas of life have this, like fitness and nutrition. We have the information to be stronger, healthier, and more fit than our ancestors. Not only that, but we have tools that make it easy to track and act on this information. And it’s all available through a one-pound device that fits in our pockets and a number of tiny but powerful applications.
Apps are our generation's privilege, and we need to leverage them. Here are the apps that I’m leveraging on my fitness journey.
#1 MyFitnessPal
Main Purpose: Tracking calories, macros and nutrients.
This is by far the best tool for counting calories, macronutrients, and micronutrients that I’ve tested, and it isn’t close.
MyFitnessPal is objectively the best for basic tracking because of its robust library of foods.
