Disclaimer: This is not an ad. I do not earn anything if you purchase the supplement I’m about to share. I do this for fun because I love talking about health and nutrition, especially when I find things that I know can really change people’s lives. Also, I am not a doctor, just a long time student of nutrition and fitness as it relates to my body specifically and my goals of being lean and strong. Don’t give me the same level of respect you’d give a doctor. I’m just a dude, but I do bring my receipts when I talk.

I have written about the power of semaglutide several times now. Read the article below next if you want to see my overly analyzed results

For now, here are what the numbers looked like from 2+ months of taking it last year.

Don’t let anyone fool you, these drugs flat out work and they have the power to change the world. I’m not being dramatic, I believe that full heartedly.

They are an ethical cheat code to weight loss. I tell everyone who wants to lose weight to look into them and talk to their doctor about them.

However, they might actually work too well.

They can be overkill for people who are just a few pounds overweight, like I was when I started taking them.

People who don’t want to be pencil thin but rather muscular and strong but just sans the beer gut should think long and hard before starting them.

I fall into that group. The weight loss was great, but the end product was not in line with my goals. To be big and strong, not lean but weak.

The Downsides of Semaglutide

As with all powerful medications, there are side effects.

The biggest of which for me were…

  • Low energy. Even with a B-Vitamin injection, I found myself needing mid-day naps. My typical hour long workouts were consistently cut short, often in half.
